I am starting with the (wo)man in the mirror

  • Jen's right. Adelle's class is to die for and if you haven't been to Gallery One or these studios you're missing a lot. This was my seceond mirror and now I'm a bona fide addict. What Miss Jen forgot to mention is that she, like so many of us who have taken this class, intended to give it away as a gift, but once made it's pretty hard to part with these babies. OK folks don't feel intimidated if you don't consider yourselves crafty. I get hives just driving past a Michael's and have never drawn anything recognizable in my life. I can't wait until Adelle offers her "Novel Year" workshop - you meet once a month and by the end of the year you have a novel. Hey I'm 49 already. I given up on the idea that it will all just come to me.

  • It was a great experience starting from nada and getting the whole enchilata! It was creative and cathartic and really fun to laugh with great artistic and intelligent women. I too can't wait until the novel workshop - there's a novel in all of us --- why not make it a reality.

    Thanks for the blog Jen!

  • I have been in Adelle's studio and have seen her wonderful, wacky mirrors !!

Love it, love it.....ever wonder where all those items you lost as a child were?? well many of them ended up in Adelle's studio and now you can use them to decorate a mirror or just wonder how it was you came upon them in the first place. Its a great way to spend a saturday when you need to get away from the everyday and dream a little dream...

    thanks Adelle-!
