ANTM, Flava of Love, all iterations (tailor-made, you whipping boy!), Rock of Love, Project Runway, Top Chef, ad nauseum. these are, of course, my favorite weeks of AI, where we are affronted with the deluded, the insane, and the unbalanced. i loved

the comatose chick who did celine dion, the paula stalker, the guy with the weird low voice, and of course, "I AM YOUR BROTHER!!!" bring us your freaks, world -- we'll

put them on television.

Re: Reality check

I, too, am a reality TV junkie. Unashamedly so until...mmm...about now.

One thing I found surprising about the roll-out of American Idol was the judges' reaction to Kady Malloy, the Britney Spears impersonator from Dallas.

After she dumped the schtick and, in the words of Hillary Clinton, "found her own voice," singing "Unchained Melody," (a Simon fave, by the way) the judges loved her even more.

I don't really get it. Kady's definitely good, but I didn't think her performance warranted the blown-away reaction from Randy, Paula and Si-Guy. I agree: Zia or Pzia is one to watch.

I've fallen off the "Amazing Race" bandwagon, but do remember the grandson/grandpapa pair. I'll root for them because I thought they had a snowball's chance in Greenland to make it this far.

Besides getting caught up in VH1's post-holiday "America's Next Top Model" marathon (they're evil! I was glued to the tube all week) I haven't latched on to anything new...except, I did just see previews for a new "Flava of Love."

Now, who's with me for that new season, boyyyy-eeeeee?
